In the area of the Joint Forces Operation on August 11, 5 violations of the ceasefire by the Russian occupiers were recorded, - the JFO headquarters reported. Russian occupiers fired at the Ukrainian positions from 122-mm artillery systems near Novomykhailivka and Novoselivka Druha. The occupiers fired from the same weapons directly at the settlements of Novomykhailivka and Novoselivka Druha. As a result of the shelling of Novomykhailivka, the territory of the farm and the power line were damaged, which led to a blackout in the settlements of Taramchuk, Slavne, Solodke and Novomykhailivka. In addition, the settlement of Novomykhailivka was left without water supply. A local resident, born in 1935, died as a result of shelling of Novoselivka Druha, detached houses of residents and adjacent households were damaged. Also, one soldier sustained shrapnel wounds a result of the enemy shelling. The soldier is in a medical facility, his health condition is satisfactory. In addition, the enemy unmanned aerial vehicle of the Orlan-10 type flew by crossing the demarcation line on the border of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. Our soldiers gave an adequate response to the provocative actions of the enemy.
Almost half a thousand new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in the occupied territory of Donetsk oblast over the day. This was reported by the so-called "Ministry of Health of the DNR". Another 28 residents of CADO died over the day after complications from coronavirus disease.
The so-called "LNR emergency sanitary and anti-epidemic commission" in the occupied Luhansk region introduced new restrictions due to the worsening epidemiological situation, separatist media wrote. Holding of athletic sporting events and sports competitions, performances of musical, theater and other groups, working of dance halls, including at catering establishments, organization and holding of mass events of a cultural and entertainment nature in in public places were stopped in CALO from August 11 until the "special order". The work of cinemas, theaters, cinema and concert halls has also been suspended, with the exception of their activities in compliance with the restriction on the occupancy of the hall of no more than 30% and uniform seating of spectators, as well as holding of any public events by employers, including festive events with the participation of workers, and the work of water parks. The admission of visitors to fitness clubs and gyms is limited on the basis of at least 10 sq. m. of the hall area per person.
20 vehicles with humanitarian aid from the Office of the UN High Commissioner proceeded to the occupied Luhansk region through the demarcation line at the Shchastia checkpoint, the press service of the Luhansk regional administration reported. The cars carried construction materials, items and equipment for medical use with a total weight of over 114 tons, intended for civilian population living in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
In occupied Donetsk, an underground electrical fitter was injured by a piece of rock falling out at the Rudnyk 4-21 coal mine. This was reported by the so-called "Ministry of Emergency Situations of the DNR". The injured man, born in 1990, received medical attention and was hospitalized.
