More than 1000 new cases of COVID-19 identified in Ukraine. Donbas is not in TOP-5

1052 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

1052 people fell ill over the past day, including 81 children and 37 health workers. 532 people were hospitalized, 25 – died.

542 people recovered on August 4.

46 074 tests were carried over the past day, of which 20 950 – by PCR, 9154 – by EIA and 15 970 – by rapid antigen tests.

2 256 397 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2 188 815 patients recovered and 53 049 – died.

The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the city of Kyiv (187), the Odesa (75), Zaporizhzhia (62), Kharkiv (59) and Vinnytsia (57) oblasts.

55 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the controlled territory of Donetsk oblast and 46 – in the Luhansk.
