Representatives of 29 countries will take part in the Crimean Platform summit, which will be held in Kyiv on August 23. This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at the Ukraine 30 forum today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"The first summit of the Crimean Platform will take place on 23 August. This is an initiative of Ukraine, supported by dozens of our international partners. We are returning the Crimea to the global agenda in order to return it home to Ukraine", - he stated.
Zelensky noted that the USA, Great Britain, Poland, Turkey, Germany, France, the Baltic countries, Australia, New Zealand and others had confirmed their participation in the summit.
"There are 29 countries in total", - the president said.
According to him, a general declaration will be signed based on the results of the summit.
"We should forever forget that Ukraine will forget about the Crimea. Ukraine will not raise the issue of the Crimea only in one case - when it will raise the Ukrainian flag in the Crimea", - the head of state noted.
