28 states and international organizations confirm their participation in Crimean Platform summit - Kuleba

Already 28 states and international organizations have confirmed their participation in the Crimean Platform summit, which will be held in Ukraine in August. Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba reported this at a briefing, - Lb.ua reports.

"This will be an unprecedented international event, never before has such a number of states gathered in Ukraine at the level of presidents, prime ministers, chairmen of parliaments and members of governments", - the minister noted.

Kuleba added that Russia was trying to persuade representatives of other countries not to participate in the event, but Ukraine is opposing this.

As previously reported, the summit is to be held in Kyiv on August 23, 2021. It will start the work of the Crimean Platform, a short document will be adopted there, which will set out a vision for further consolidation of the policy of the Crimea de-occupation.

Transport Minister Pete Buttigieg will come from the USA to the Ukrainian summit of the Crimean Platform. France will be represented at the summit of the Crimean Platform in Kyiv by the MFA head. The Netherlands has already confirmed its participation.
