An explosion followed by a fire occurred on a gas pipeline in occupied Luhansk at night. This was reported by the press service of the so-called Luganskgaz "state-owned enterprise".

"On the night of June 18, 2021, an explosion occurred on a medium-pressure gas pipeline with a diameter of 425 mm, resulting in a strong fire", - the report said.

It is noted that 20 residential buildings and 21 municipal facilities were disconnected from the supply of natural gas as a result of the incident.

"As of 6:30, the flame was extinguished, the experts of the Luganskgaz state-owned enterprise immediately started repair and restoration measures", - the fake "state-owned enterprise" said in the report.

Pro-Russian propagandist Andrey Marochko was quick to state that the explosion occurred as a result of "undermining". "According to preliminary data, the gas pipeline was blown up near the bridge near the May 1 park (where the Ferris wheel is located) in Luhansk", - he wrote on his Facebook.
