The meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will take place only on the condition that the issues of the Crimea and Donbas will be discussed at the summit. This was stated by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba in an interview with Radio NV.

According to him, if this meeting takes place, the President of Ukraine will firmly and fundamentally defend Ukrainian interests.

"We publicly voiced what we want, they voiced what they want. There are serious opposite approaches to this meeting, but we will continue to talk with them and try to bring these positions closer, because everything in Russia is decided by Vladimir Putin, and we need to meet with him. We will not meet with Putin in order not to talk about the Donbas and Crimea", - Kuleba noted.

He also informed that the Russian-Ukrainian summit would take place when Kyiv is convinced that the parties will be able to substantively discuss the issues that are key for Ukraine at this meeting.

"Fortunately or unfortunately, I do not work either in the section of horoscopes or weather forecasts, so I cannot set any specific deadlines for you now", - Kuleba noted.
