Almost 5 thousand new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Ukraine

4984 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

4984 people fell ill over the past day, including 278 children and 97 health workers. 1785 people were hospitalized, 202 – died.

12 845 people recovered on May 20.

62 577 tests were carried over the past day, of which 26 154 – by PCR, 11 454 – by EIA and 24 969 – by rapid antigen tests.

2 175 382 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1 929 039 patients recovered and 49 101 – died.

The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the city of Kyiv (453), the Donetsk (408), Dnipropetrovsk (405), Zaporizhzhia (354) and Kyiv (348) oblasts.
