4538 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Ukraine

4538 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov on Facebook.

4538 people fell ill over the past day, including 180 children and 142 health workers. 1349 people were hospitalized, 356 – died.

19 766 people recovered on May 11.

71 383 tests were carried over the past day, of which 38 959 – by PCR, 12 617 – by EIA and 19 807 – by rapid antigen tests.

2 129 073 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1 797 136 patients recovered and 46 987 – died.

The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the city of Kyiv (627), the Rivne (471), Poltava (380), Donetsk (356) and Kharkiv (345) oblasts.
