11 627 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Ukraine

11 627 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov on Facebook.

11 627 people fell ill over the past day, including 518 children and 259 health workers. 3096 people were hospitalized, 387 – died.

18 442 people recovered on April 28.

93 463 tests were carried over the past day, of which 41 499 – by PCR, 16 569 – by EIA and 35 395 – by rapid antigen tests.

2 059 465 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1 635 333 patients recovered and 43 778 – died.

The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the city of Kyiv (940), the Kharkiv (1203), Dnipropetrovsk (1021), Donetsk (809) and Lviv (667) oblasts.
