In the area of the Joint Forces Operation on April 27, the armed formations of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire 6 times, - the JFO headquarters reported. The Russian occupation forces opened fire on the positions of the Ukrainian defenders from 120 mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk agreements near Vodiane, and from an anti-tank missile system - near the village of Opytne. The occupiers fired at the positions of our soldiers from large-caliber machine guns and small arms not far from the village of Mayorsk twice. The occupiers carried out shelling using heavy anti-tank grenade launchers in the suburbs of Talakivka, and automatic heavy grenade launchers - near the village of Luhanske. Our defenders fired back at the shelling of the Russian occupation forces. One soldier from the Joint Forces received injuries incompatible with life in the area of responsibility of the North tactical force, as a result of the explosion of a military vehicle on an unknown explosive device. Three more servicemen sustained combat injuries. The injured soldiers were taken to a hospital where they received proper medical assistance. Their health condition is satisfactory.

In occupied Donetsk, Russian illegal armed formations deployed two mortars near the location of the disabled OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) camera at the Oktyabrskaya mine. This was reported in the daily report of the observers. In particular, it was reported that the SMM saw mortars deployed in violation of withdrawal lines in non-government-controlled areas of the Donetsk oblast, namely: two mortars not far from the location of the SMM camera at the Oktyabrskaya mine, which is now not operational. A note clarified that the SMM's camera failed to function on April 19, 2021 "due to the influence of a foreign object". Earlier, the observers reported that the Russian armed formations, contrary to the objections of the OSCE monitors, installed their video camera on the SMM mast at the Oktyabrskaya mine in occupied Donetsk, after which they restricted the observers' access to it.
