Residents in the occupied territory of Donetsk oblast were given 700 thousand "DNR passports". This is reported by separatist media, referring to the data of Igor Skribov, who calls himself "the deputy head of the DNR migration service".

He also announced the figures for Russian passports for residents of CADO. Allegedly, more than 260 thousand applications for obtaining a Russian passport have already been accepted.

"235 thousand people have already received Russian passports. Obviously, this is already more than 10% of the entire population of the DNR", - Skribov said.

Let us recall that in April 2019, head of the Russian Federation Putin, signed a decree on the simplified acquisition of Russian citizenship by residents of the occupied Donbas. A year later, the state duty was also canceled for obtaining a passport.

The issuance of Russian passports to residents of the occupied part of Donetsk oblast is carried out in the Rostov oblast from June 14, 2019. Now there are four corresponding points: in the villages of Kuybyshevo and Pokrovskoye, Rodionovo-Nesvetayskaya sloboda and the village of Matveyev Kurgan.
