7856 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Ukraine on Sunday

7856 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov on Facebook.

7856 people fell ill over the past day, including 355 children and 119 health workers. 2770 people were hospitalized, 287 – died.

5355 people recovered on April 11.

40 109 tests were carried over the past day, of which 20 831 – by PCR, 6133 – by EIA and 13 145 – by rapid antigen tests.

1 861 105 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1 416 215 patients recovered and 37 301 – died.

The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the Dnipropetrovsk (1112), Kharkiv (595) Lviv (590) and Kyiv (477) oblasts, as well as in the city of Kyiv (537).
