More than 19 thousand new cases of coronavirus recorded in Ukraine

19 419 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov on Facebook.

19 419 people fell ill over the past day, including 766 children and 480 health workers. 5 092 people were hospitalized, 464 – died. 10 032 people recovered on April 7.

128 440 tests were carried over the past day, of which 57 996 – by PCR, 23 647 – by EIA and 46 797 – by rapid antigen tests.

1 803 998 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1 383 889 patients recovered and 35 962 – died.

The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the Odesa (1142), Lviv (1255), Kharkiv (1427) and Khmelnytskyi (1158) oblasts, as well as in the city of Kyiv (1886).
