The fake "DNR General Prosecutor's Office" has opened a "criminal case" against commander of the AFU brigade Hennadiy Shapovalov, who was allegedly involved in the death of a child in the village of Oleksandrivske, northeast of Yenakiieve. This is said in the message of the "department".

"The Prosecutor General's Office preliminarily established that Ukrainian armed formations dropped an explosive device of an unknown type from an unmanned aerial vehicle onto the residential sector of the village of Oleksandrivske on April 2. As a result of the explosion, a child born in 2016 received numerous shrapnel wounds to the torso, limbs and head, incompatible with life. His grandmother, born in 1954, received shrapnel wounds to the head and a brain concussion", - it notes.

The "prosecutor's office" did not provide any evidence of the AFU involvement in this tragedy. The village of Oleksandrivske is located in the deep rear of CADO - 15 kilometers from the contact line, which makes it impossible for the Ukrainian side to use the UAV. None of the local residents saw the drone. Some of them, not being present at the scene of the tragedy, reported that they allegedly heard the sound of a flying drone. This is where all the "proofs" ended.

There is no evidence confirming the false stories of pro-Russian propagandists, in the Russian leadership as well.

Press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov admitted that the Kremlin prefered to believe the reports of the so-called "people's militia" (the self-name of the illegal armed formations of the "DNR").

"The Kremlin does not have verified information about the death of this child. Along with that, there is no reason to doubt the veracity of the data provided from the self-proclaimed republics in this regard. It is difficult to imagine that some fakes were made around the child", - Peskov said.

As previously reported, a five-year-old child died from an explosion of unidentified ammunition in the village of Oleksandrivske, 12-15 kilometers from the contact line,on April 3. Representative of the so-called "people's militia" Eduard Basurin indiscriminately accused the AFU of this tragedy, having stated that the Ukrainian drone dropped the explosive object into the yard of civilians. This unconfirmed information, passing it off as the truth, was instantly picked up by all the separatist and Russian media. As for the fakes surrounding the death of the child, it was Russian television in 2014 that was marked by a crude fake "interview" with a woman provocateur. Allegedly, the eyewitness told how Ukrainian soldiers "crucified a boy in panties". Russian propagandists were forced to admit that this interview was fake, and the phrase "crucified boy in panties" became a meme and a classic example of outright disinformation of society.
