More than 13 thousand new cases of coronavirus recorded in Ukraine

13 276 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov on Facebook.

13 276 people fell ill over the past day, including 508 children and 338 health workers. 2545 people were hospitalized, 430 – died. 10 240 people recovered on April 5.

91 978 tests were carried over the past day, of which 41 512 – by PCR, 21 279 – by EIA and 29 187 – by rapid antigen tests.

1 769 164 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1 362 379 patients recovered and 35 017 – died.

The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the Odesa (1 436), Lviv (1 105), Kyiv (889) and Kharkiv (878) oblasts, as well as in the city of Kyiv (1432).
