The Kremlin has no evidence of Ukraine's involvement in the death of a child, allegedly as a result of dropping ammunition into a UAV. This was announced to Russian journalists by press secretary of Vladimir Putin Dmitry Peskov.

At the same time, he stated that the Russian authorities believed the "DNR" propagandists' word, who groundlessly accused the AFU of this tragedy.

"The Kremlin does not have verified information about the death of this child. Along with that, there is no reason to doubt the veracity of the data provided from the self-proclaimed republics in this regard. It is difficult to imagine that some fakes were made around the child", - Peskov said.

As previously reported, a five-year-old child died from an explosion of unidentified ammunition in the village of Oleksandrivske, 12-15 kilometers from the contact line,on April 3. Representative of the so-called "people's militia" (self-designation of the illegal armed formations of the "DNR") Eduard Basurin indiscriminately accused the AFU of this tragedy, having stated that the Ukrainian drone dropped the explosive object into the yard of civilians. This unconfirmed information, passing it off as the truth, was instantly picked up by all the separatist and Russian media. As for the fakes surrounding the death of the child, it was Russian television in 2014 that was marked by a crude fake "interview" with a woman provocateur. Allegedly, the eyewitness told how Ukrainian soldiers "crucified a boy in panties". Russian propagandists were forced to admit that this interview was fake, and the phrase "crucified boy in panties" became a meme and a classic example of outright disinformation of society.
