New anti-records. Almost 20 thousand new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Ukraine

19 893 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov on Facebook.

19 893 people fell ill over the past day, including 834 children and 484 health workers. 5040 people were hospitalized, 433 – died.

10 287 people recovered on April 1.

128 727 tests were carried over the past day, of which 58 944 – by PCR, 22 564 – by EIA and 47 219 – by rapid antigen tests.

1 711 630 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1 333 370 patients recovered and 33 679 – died.

The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the Lviv (1668), Odesa (1608), Kharkiv (1494), Khmelnytskyi (1351) and Dnipropetrovsk (1178) oblasts.
