New anti-records. More than 16 thousand new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Ukraine

16 669 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This is reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov on Facebook.

16 669 people fell ill over the past day, including 786 children and 446 health workers. 4838 people were hospitalized, 362 – died.

6748 people recovered on March 24.

128 615 tests were carried over the past day, of which 57 818 – by PCR, 22 950 – by EIA and 47 847 – by rapid antigen tests.

1 596 575 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1 283 020 patients recovered and 31 135 – died.

The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the city of Kyiv (1267), the Odesa (1235), Zhytomyr (1136), Lviv (1032) and Khmelnytskyi (989) oblasts.
