Occupation authorities of the "LNR" were forced to admit that the AFU did not deliberately fire at the residential sector in Zolote-5 and urged not to aggravate the situation. This is said in the message of the so-called "people's militia" (self-name of the illegal armed formations of the "LNR" - OstroV).
"According to observers of the LNR representative office in the JCCC (Joint Center for Control and Coordination on Ceasefire), one violation of the ceasefire by the AFU has been recorded since the beginning of the day", - it notes.
Allegedly, Ukrainian "soldiers shelled the Zolote-5 area from a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher, having fired five grenades, and also used small arms".
At the same time, the representative of the "people's militia" made a clarification atypical for separatist propaganda, admitting that the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not conduct any aimed shelling of the residential sector. Moreover, the "people's policeman" called such accusations against the Joint Forces an attempt to exacerbate the situation on the contact line.
"I draw the attention of the public and media representatives to the information disseminated in social networks about the allegedly aimed shelling of residential quarters and school of the Mykhailivka settlement (Zolote-5 - OstroV) by the AFU, which is not true, and is aimed at aggravating the situation", - Osadchiy said.
He urged to trust only the official sources of the law enforcement agencies "in order to prevent the dissemination of inaccurate information".
