More than 3 thousand new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Ukraine

3261 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This is reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov on Facebook.

3261 people fell ill over the past day, including 160 children and 54 health workers. 1837 people were hospitalized, 76 – died.

975 people recovered on March 8.

18 207 tests were carried over the past day, of which 13 101 – by PCR, 1674 – by EIA and 3432 – by rapid antigen tests.

1 410 061 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1 199 229 patients recovered and 27 204 – died.

The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the Vinnytsia (460), Ivano-Frankivsk (433), Chernivtsi (409), Lviv (351) oblasts and in the city of Kyiv (201).
