More than 10 thousand new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Ukraine over the day

10 057 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This is reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov on Facebook.

10 057 people fell ill over the past day, including 611 children and 388 health workers. 3271 people were hospitalized, 194 – died.

4837 people recovered on March 3.

83 086 tests were carried over the past day, of which 38 068 – by PCR, 16 265 – by EIA and 28 753 – by rapid antigen tests.

1 374 762 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1 186 873 patients recovered and 26 591 – died.

The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the city of Kyiv (868), the Zhytomyr (888), Vinnytsia (827), Ivano-Frankivsk (776), Zakarpattia (469) and Chernivtsi (626) oblasts.
