Ukraine has already fulfilled all the conditions for a new meeting of leaders in the Normandy format. This was told by the new OSCE chair, Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde in an interview with European Pravda, answering the question on what grounds she expects to hold a summit of leaders in the near future.

"You know that there was an agreement at the summit in Paris on a new meeting of leaders under a number of conditions. Ukraine has fulfilled all the conditions. Unfortunately, Russia has not yet. Now everything depends on how the negotiations will be going and how the agreement to fulfill these conditions will be reached", - Ann Linde noted.

She added that, in any case, she sees a positive result of the negotiations on the ceasefire, which has been going on since July 27.

When asked whether the OSCE should be included in the Normandy format, Ann Linde replied that she considers it effective in its current form, and the OSCE can concentrate its efforts on the Trilateral Contact Group.

The office of the President of Ukraine reported last week that a new round of talks between political advisers to the leaders of the Normandy Four countries would take place on January 22.

Sweden, one of the friendliest EU states towards Ukraine, obtained the chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe in 2021. The first foreign visit of the head of the Swedish Foreign Ministry in the position of the OSCE chairman was a trip to Ukraine.
