Explosion occurs in main gas pipeline in Poltava oblast

The explosion has occurred on the main gas pipeline in the Poltava oblast on the afternoon of January 9. This is said in the report of JSC Lubnygaz.

It is noted that the explosion occurred at the section of the main gas pipeline, which is served by the "Operator of the gas transmission system of Ukraine" (Ukrtransgaz). Previously, the emergency situation affected two gas-distributing stations, which could lead to an emergency shutdown of gas in a number of settlements. The list of such settlements is being specified.

Eyewitnesses write on social networks that there was a big fire after the explosion.
