11 490 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This is reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov on Facebook.
11 490 people fell ill over the past day, including 488 children and 445 health workers. 2721 people were hospitalized, 223 - died.
15 775 people recovered on December 23.
66 358 tests on COVID-19 were carried out over the past day, of which 42 132 - by PCR and 24 226 - by EIA.
The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the city of Kyiv (1377), the Zaporizhzhia (774), Odesa (676), Kyiv (666) and Donetsk (636) oblasts.
