The Verkhovna Rada has adopted the draft law on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2021 in the second reading and as a whole at a meeting on December 15. The document was supported by 289 people's deputies, - Economic Pravda reports.
Presenting the draft budget for 2021, Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko called it "the budget of opportunities". In particular, he stated that by the second reading, capital outlays had increased by $367.5 million - to $3.6 billion.
According to him, expenditures on security and defense have increased to 5.93% of GDP, and, in particular, $3.2 billion are provided for "Big Construction", $162.1 million - for the railway and $86.5 million - for airports…
Marchenko added that the budget was balanced and real for implementation and called on the people's deputies to support it.
