The situation at the front does not give grounds to hope for a guaranteed peaceful scenario in Donbass. The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that today in his speech during the celebrations of the second anniversary of the creation of the battalion named after Hero of Ukraine, Major-General Sergey Kulchytsky, - reports UNIAN.

"The situation at the front does not give us grounds for complacency. Those battles that are now carried out in the industrial zone near Avdeyevka, the concentration of enemy armed forces with tanks, artillery, do not give us grounds to hope for a guaranteed peaceful scenario", - said the President.

As previously reported, the terrorists in Donbass are constantly shelling strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the latest data of the SSU, there are about 6 thousand Russian military personnel in the temporarily occupied parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, separate units are constantly rotated.

In addition, the total number of members of illegal armed formations, the so-called 1st and 2nd Army Corps, is about 40 thousand.
