Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel-General Ruslan Khomchak has stated that groups of Russian snipers were recorded near Shyrokyne. He said this today, November 25, during a meeting with the media representatives, - the Defense Ministry's news agency reports.

According to him, a maximum of 3 thousand Russian servicemen are currently stationed in certain areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts not controlled by the Ukrainian government.

"According to intelligence, there are about three thousand Russian servicemen in certain areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. All deliveries of weapons, equipment and food are carried out from the territory of the Russian Federation. It also became known that 10-12 professional groups of snipers from the Russian Federation entered the Donbas recently, we saw them near Shyrokyne", - Colonel-General Ruslan Khomchak noted.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also informed that the first graduation of officers from the Donetsk military academy took place this year.
