The head of the self-proclaimed "DPR" Alexander Zakharchenko was the first to receive a passport of the "the republican sample". It is reported by the separatist DAN website.

The report did not mention where his Ukrainian passport was - the only document which he can use to travel to Russia and Belarus to participate in the Minsk negotiations.

According to the information, he also gave new "passport" to 20 residents who have reached the age of 16.

Earlier separatist OPLOT TV published a report on the results of the survey of residents on the future passport issuanceto "citizens of the republic" - "How do you feel about the fact that you can get a DPR passport?"

The survey results were unexpected for the crew. Most respondents answered the question with a question - "What will the passport of the unrecognized republic give us?"
