The Verkhovna Rada has failed an appeal to the Cabinet of Ministers with a recommendation to abolish the weekend quarantine in Ukraine, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
149 out of 226 necessary MPs supported the relevant resolution.
The resolution provides for recommendations to the government to revise the restrictive measures established by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On the establishment of quarantine and the introduction of enhanced epidemiological response in the territory with a wide spread of the COVID-19 acute respiratory disease, caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus".
