The Russian occupation forces violated the ceasefire regime in the Donbas five times over the past day, forcing the JFO units to return fire. This was reported by the press center of the special operation headquarters.

In particular, the enemy fired from small arms at the Joint Forces' position near the settlement of Artema in the area of responsibility of the North tactical force in the evening.

"Our soldiers opened fire to suppress the enemy's fire activity and preserve their own lives and health, having forced the enemy to stop firing. There were no combat losses or injuries among the Ukrainian defenders. The enemy's losses are being specified", - the report says.

Armed formations of the Russian Federation have violated the ceasefire 2 times since the beginning of this day, on October 22. So, the enemy used a grenade machine gun in the area of Novoluhanske, and small arms near Artema. The Joint Forces units opened fire on this fire provocation of the enemy.

The ceasefire is observed in other areas of responsibility of Ukrainian units along the entire demarcation line.

There are no combat losses or injuries among the Joint Forces personnel.
