President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced the creation of a new international format "Crimean Platform". He announced this in his annual address to the Verkhovna Rada today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"You can post as many funny memes about the security guarantees of the Budapest Memorandum as you want, but this will not return our territories. We are looking for new effective tools for this. We have returned the issue of Crimea to the international agenda", - he said.

The President announced the creation of a new format "Crimean Platform", where international efforts will be coordinated to protect the rights of the Crimeans and de-occupy the peninsula.

"I have already substantively discussed this initiative with representatives of the EU, Great Britain, Canada, Turkey and other partners. Many of them are ready to join and take an active part", - Zelensky added.
