Donbas needs tax and customs preferences - Zelensky

The Donbas needs tax and customs preferences for the development of the region. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky in his annual address to the Verkhovna Rada today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"We are already building a new, safe and modern Donbas in the free territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions today. But in order to create such a region that suffered from Russian aggression, special economic conditions are needed. We need a strategy for the development of economy of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, which includes tax and customs preferences, insurance of military and political risks for investors and arbitration according to international standards", - he informed.

Zelensky noted that the work on this strategy has already begun.
