Sunday COVID. 4766 new cases of coronavirus infection detected in Ukraine over the day

303 638 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of October 19. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"4766 people fell ill over the past day, including 217 children and 207 health workers. 644 people were hospitalized over the past day", - the minister stated.

According to him, 66 deaths from COVID-19 were recorded over the past day, 1112 patients recovered.

"In total, 303 638 people fell ill in Ukraine during the pandemic, including 18 553 children and 19 595 health workers. 126 489 people recovered and 5 673 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.

25 739 tests on COVID-19 were carried over the past day, of which 22 543 - by PCR and 3 196 - by EIA.

As previously reported, the incidence rates recorded on weekends are different downwards from weekdays.
