The second question in the all-Ukrainian poll on the day of local elections on October 25 will be about the creation of a free economic zone in the Donbass. President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this in a video message posted on the Facebook of the President's Office.

"We promised to resolve all important issues together with you. And we are taking the first steps in this way… Question number two today - do you support the creation of a free economic zone in the Donbass?", - Zelensky said.

As previously reported, the "popular consultation" initiated by Volodymyr Zelensky should take place on the day of the local elections. Who, how and for what money will carry it out is not yet clear. The phrase that Ukrainians will answer the questions put to them at the polling stations sounds in the president's video messages on a regular basis. However, the legislation permits such actions only outside the voting premises and on condition that citizens who have already voted will be interviewed. The presidential administration notes that the results of the survey will have no legal force, but will allow finding out the opinion of Ukrainians.

Later, the head of state said that the first question would be whether it was necessary to introduce life imprisonment for corruption on a massive scale.
