4069 COVID-19 cases recorded in Ukraine over the day

213 028 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of October 1. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"4069 people fell ill over the past day, including 250 children and 288 health workers. 730 people were hospitalized over the past day", - the minister stated.

According to him, 64 deaths from COVID-19 were recorded over the past day, 2038 patients recovered.

"In total, 213 028 people fell ill in Ukraine during the pandemic, including 13 970 children and 15 538 health workers. 94 443 people recovered and 4 193 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.

53 022 tests on COVID-19 were carried over the past day, of which 30 167 - by PCR and 22 855 - by EIA.
