No more than once a month: "LNR" occupiers make it difficult to cross contact line

Occupation authorities of the "LNR" have allowed the residents of CALO to cross the contact line through the Stanytsia Luhanska checkpoint no more than once a month. This is said in the "decree" of "leader" of the republic Leonid Pasechnik.

It notes that from now on, the entry of residents into the occupied territory from the free territory of Ukraine and leaving CALO is allowed to persons who have registration at the place of residence in the occupied territory of Luhansk oblast, but not more than once a month.

The "LNR" leader explained his decision by "the unfavorable epidemiological situation in Ukraine and the threat of the spread of a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), as well as to ensure the safety of citizens…"

As previously reported, crossing of the contact line through the Stanytsia Luhanska checkpoint remained unregulated in contrast to the checkpoints in CADO.
