COVID-19 deaths in "DNR" are more than three times higher than in free territory of Donetsk region

The "DNR" occupiers have confirmed 2824 cases of coronavirus infection as of yesterday, September 13, of which 158 were fatal, - the so-called "DNR Ministry of Health" reports.

Thus, the death rate from COVID-19 in the "republic" is 5.6%.

If we compare this figure with the data on the part of the Donetsk oblast controlled by the Ukrainian authorities, then on the same date, September 13, COVID-19 was confirmed in 2101 people, of which 30 were fatal. The mortality rate was 1.43%.

According to the Ministry of Health, there are 154 335 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine as of September 13, of which 3178 were fatal, that is, the mortality rate is 2.06%.

According to world statistics, in total, 28.5 million cases of coronavirus disease were registered on September 13, of which more than 917 thousand were fatal, that is, the mortality rate was 3.22%.
