Leader of "DNR" does not even want to hear about closure of border with Russia due to COVID-19

At the moment, there are no prerequisites for closing the border with Russia due to the threat of the spread of coronavirus infection. This was stated by the "DNR" leader Denis Pushilin, - separatist media report.

"There are no prerequisites for closing, the situation with COVID-19 in Russia was stabilized. We are in the same epidemiological field with Russia, and this allows us to speak of the inexpediency of even talking about closing the border with Russia", - the head of the occupation administration explained his position.

As previously reported, the death rate from coronavirus in the occupied territory of Donetsk oblast is 5.6%, which is considerably higher than the global figure.
