Situation in the area of the Joint Forces Operation on August 31 remained under control, - the JFO headquarters reported. No enemy shelling has been recorded in the areas of responsibility of our units since the beginning of this day. There are no military losses or injuries among the Ukrainian defenders. Units of the Joint Forces are closely watching the enemy and are ready to respond instantly to any changes in the operational situation.
Checkpoints on the contact line will switch to autumn mode from September 1 and continue to operate under quarantine conditions, - the JFO headquarters reported. "Please note that the checkpoints will switch to the autumn mode of operation from September 1, therefore, the crossing of the demarcation line by persons and vehicles is carried out from 07.00 to 18.30, until 18.00 - in the direction of the temporarily occupied territory. In particular, the Marinka, Novotroitske and Stanytsia Luhanska checkpoints will operate in the autumn mode, - the JFO headquarters noted. At the same time, it is indicated that under quarantine conditions, the crossing of the contact line is carried out in compliance with all sanitary standards: temperature screening, personal protective equipment and social distance. The admission of persons from the temporarily occupied territory through the checkpoint is carried out subject to their consent to carry out mandatory self-isolation measures, checking their ability to install the Act at home electronic service or to give consent for observation.
A group of miners in the so-called "DNR" was given food packages against the background of chronic wage arrears. This was said in the report of the so-called "federation of trade unions". It was noted that a total of 800 miners - "members of the coal industry workers' union", who work in mines stolen from Ukrainian owners, received food packages in honor of the Miner's Day. It is significant that products, as a reward for hard work, were presented to miners in a solemn ceremony at events organized by the occupiers in honor of the celebration of the Miner's Day. As previously reported, there are chronic wage arrears to workers in the mines of CADLO. The occupiers do not provide official data, but we can talk about an amount exceeding 1 billion rubles.
Soldiers of the 503rd Separate Marine Corps Battalion of the AFU promised to give a fitting reply to the occupation forces in the event of a strike on their positions. This was stated on the battalion's Facebook. As previously reported, leader of the "DNR" Denis Pushilin delivered an ultimatum to the Armed Forces of Ukraine on August 28: to eliminate the trenches and shelters by September 3, which, according to the militants' leader were additionally equipped by the AFU in the area of the settlement of Shumy. Otherwise, he threatens to destroy this fortified area with "return fire".
