Provocation and speculation: Avakov reacts to Fokin's statement about special status of entire Donbass

The statements of member of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG Vitold Fokin about a total amnesty and a special status for the entire Donbass do not correspond to national interests. This was stated by Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, - the press service of the MIA reports.

Avakov considers the statements of the Ukrainian representative in the TCG to be provocative and speculative.

"None of our soldiers should die because of ridiculous political speculations. Therefore, the statement of representative of Ukraine in the TCG V.Fokin about a total amnesty and a special status for the entire territory of Donbass is provocative and does not correspond to national interests. We remember that thousands of our soldiers were killed for every plot of Ukrainian land in the Donbass", - he noted.

Vitold Fokin earlier stated that in his opinion, the war in the Donbass would end and the lives of Ukrainian fighters would be saved, provided that a special status was granted to the entire territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.
