On August 25, two Ukrainian soldiers in the Donbass were blown up by anti-personnel mine that the enemy had planted remotely. This was reported by the JFO headquarters.

"In the area of responsibility of the Marine Corps brigade, two servicemen were blown up on the enemy anti-personnel fragmentation-type trip activated mine POM-2 during a survey of the area. They sustained shrapnel wounds as a result of the explosion and are now being treated. Their health condition is satisfactory. It was preliminary established that the anti-personnel mine was planted by a remote method. Such provocations are used by the enemy in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts", - the JFO headquarters noted.

Most likely, this refers to the use of unmanned aerial vehicles by the enemy for mining the territories controlled by Ukraine. A similar case of using UAVs took place on this sector of the front on August 24 - the enemy dropped a VOG-17 grenade with the help of a drone.
