The "DNR" occupiers hope that Leonid Kravchuk will be able to establish a direct dialogue with the "republics" of Donbass. This is said in the statement of Natalia Nikonorova, who calls herself "Minister of Foreign Affairs".

She recalled that the first President of Ukraine was appointed as the new plenipotentiary of Ukraine at the Minsk talks.

"We hope that the new head of the Ukrainian delegation will show an affirmative approach to the negotiation process and will not shy away from direct dialogue with the "republics", - she said, having not mentioned once again that there are no "republics" in the Minsk agreements.

As reported, first of all, the Minsk agreements provide for the restoration of territorial integrity of Ukraine by granting the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass the status of "areas with a special procedure for local self-government". The concepts of the "DNR" or "LNR", as well as the names of any positions of "heads of republics", do not appear in the Minsk documents at all.
