Occupiers of "LNR" violate ceasefire and shell Ukrainian positions with grenade launcher

Russian-occupation troops have violated the ceasefire once in the Luhansk direction since the beginning of the day on July 28. Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesman Mykhailo Sharavara said this at a briefing, - Ukrinform reports.

"As of 12:00 on July 28, one fact of the ceasefire violation was recorded in the Luhansk direction. According to available information, no casualties among the Ukrainian military were reported", - the spokesman informed.

According to Sharavara, the enemy fired an under-barrel grenade launcher at Ukrainian positions near Shumy in the morning. The units of the Joint Forces continue to abide by the ceasefire agreement and are ready to give an adequate response to any insidious and provocative actions of the enemy, - the spokesman noted.

As reported, the Trilateral Contact Group agreed on July 22, during a videoconference meeting, to establish a complete and comprehensive ceasefire in Donbass from July 27. The agreements provide for a ban on offensive and reconnaissance actions, on the use of fire weapons, in particular sniper equipment, as well as taking disciplinary for violating the ceasefire.
