The Cabinet of Ministers is going to extend adaptive quarantine in Ukraine until August 31, 2020. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at a government meeting today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"Today we are going to continue adaptive quarantine in Ukraine until August 31", - he stated.

According to him, the existing format and approach to quarantine measures "is yielding results and allows controlling the incidence rate in Ukraine".

"Work at the level of individual regions and at the local level has proven its effectiveness, so we will practice and continue such approaches to control the incidence rate and avoid peaks or burden on the health care system", - the prime minister added.

He also noted that today's decision would improve the principles of adaptive quarantine.

"This will reduce the burden on hospitals and doctors", - Denys Shmyhal said.
