673 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Ukraine over the day

60 166 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of July 21. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"673 people fell ill over the past day, of which 50 children and 35 health workers", - he stated.

According to him, 20 deaths from COVID-19 were recorded over the past day.

760 patients recovered.

"In total, 60 166 people fell ill during the pandemic, including 4 254 children and 8 020 health workers. 32 199 people recovered and 1518 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.

24 644 tests on COVID-19 were carried over the past day, of which 10 529 - by PCR and 14 115 - by EIA.

According to him, the largest number of cases over the past day was recorded in the Lviv (114), Zakarpattia (78), Ivano-Frankivsk (75) and Odessa (65) oblasts, as well as in Kyiv (73).
