The "LNR" occupiers let civilians pass unhindered through their checkpoint near Stanytsia Luhanska, while refusing entry into CALO to the OSCE SMM patrols. This follows from the Mission's daily report of July 2.

The report notes that about a thousand civilians pass through the checkpoint for entry/exit per day. At the same time, the militants refuse access to the OSCE SMM staff, motivating it with quarantine measures introduced because of COVID-19.

"In Luhansk region, at a checkpoint south of the Stanytsia Luhanska bridge (15km northeast of Luhansk), a member of the armed formations again denied the Mission passage towards non-government-controlled areas, referring to restrictions due to COVID-19", - the report said.

The Mission notes that the denial of access to the occupied territory has become systematic.
