664 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Ukraine over the day

44 998 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of July 1. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"664 people fell ill over the past day, of which 32 children and 44 health workers", - he stated.

According to him, 14 deaths from COVID-19 were recorded over the past day.

433 patients recovered.

"In total, 44 998 people fell ill during the pandemic, including 3 270 children and 6 765 health workers. 19 548 people recovered and 1173 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.

22 298 tests on COVID-19 were carried over the past day, of which 10 053 - by PCR and 12 245 - by EIA.

According to him, the largest number of cases over the past day was recorded in the Lviv (143), Zakarpatia (72) and Rivne (72) oblasts.
