Psychological border confidently overcome: 1109 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Ukraine over the day

41 117 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of June 26. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"1 109 people fell ill over the past day, of which 135 children and 74 health workers", - he stated.

According to him, 19 deaths from COVID-19 were recorded over the past day.

541 patients recovered.

"In total, 41 117 people fell ill during the pandemic, including 3 071 children and 6 420 health workers. 18 299 people recovered and 1086 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.

According to him, the largest number of cases over the past day was recorded in the Lviv (209) and Rivne (116) oblasts, as well as in Kyiv (113).
