40 008 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of June 25. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"994 people fell ill over the past day, of which 64 children and 103 health workers", - he stated.
According to him, 16 deaths from COVID-19 were recorded over the past day.
"In total, 40 008 people fell ill during the pandemic, including 2936 children and 6346 health workers. 17 758 people recovered and 1067 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.
According to him, the largest number of cases over the past day was recorded in the Lviv (204), Odessa (95) and Zakarpattia (85) oblasts, as well as in Kyiv (85).
