39 014 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of June 24. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"940 people fell ill over the past day, of which 82 children and 105 health workers. This is another anti-record", - he stated.
According to him, 16 deaths from COVID-19 were recorded over the past day.
"In total, 39 014 people fell ill during the pandemic, including 2872 children and 6243 health workers. 17 409 people recovered and 1051 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.
According to him, the largest number of cases over the past day was recorded in the Lviv (203) and Rivne (126) oblasts and in Kyiv (99).
